Nearby Bushmills is a small town with a nice selection of pubs and restaurants, while Ballycastle is a lively seaside resort with a marina and Blue Flag beach.

This traditional cottage is tucked in off Whitepark Road and only a short stroll down the lane to picturesque Portbradden with coastal path access to Whitepark Bay with its beautiful crescent beach. Ballintoy Harbour, Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge, Dunseverick, Portballintrae and the world famous Giant's Causeway, Northern Ireland's only UNESCO World Heritage site are all close by. It is also conveniently situated with a ten minute drive of shops, restaurants and the Old Bushmills Distillery. Also well situated for trips Ballycastle, home of the "Oul Lammas Fair" and departure point for a short ferry crossing to Rathlin Island where the RSPB bird sanctuary is well worth a visit, also the Glens of Antrim, Portrush with its championship golf links, Portstewart, Coleraine, Castlerock, the ancient walled city of Derry and further a field Donegal via the ferry link from Magilligan to Greencastle.
