Located two miles from Ballinrobe is this charming cottage. It has been lovingly restored and decorated yet retains an abundance of old world charm - some exposed stone walls, low sloping ceilings on the first floor, flag floors, a belfast sink in the kitchen and a woodburning stove - also the double bedroom leads into the family room. The area has some of the best fishing with Lough Mask and Lough Corrib nearby - fishing tackle, ghillie and boats can all be hired locally. This is ideal as a base convenient for Galway City, the scenic beauty of Connemara or rugged Mayo and after a long day return here to a wide variety of DVD's, books and Wi-Fi that are provided for your enjoyment.
~The bathroom has a period half-bath. It's quite small but is a traditional feature of the home.
