The River Blackwater In County Cork, Southern Ireland

The River Blackwater, passing by the pretty town Fermoy, is the 2nd longest river in Ireland. The Blackwater's tributaries are filled with fine brown trout and the river with Salmon which makes Fermoy a mecca for anglers. For non anglers the best way to see this beautiful river valley is to take the scenic Blackwater Valley Drive from Youghal on the coast to Mallow.
