Ideal for walkers and nature lovers with attractive wooded valleys in abundance, from Avondale Forest Park to Glendalough. Sandy beach at Brittas Bay a half hour drive.

Situated in the spectacular Co. Wicklow countryside, yet only one hour drive form Dublin to 'Robins Cottage' is located on the banks of the River Ow with its own private bridge leading into beautiful woodland walks and along the river bank to the award winning picturesque village of Aughrim, with its excellent bars and restaurants.
With extensive grounds, the cottage affords privacy in a beautiful unspoilt area, sitting on the deck overlooking the river and woods listening to the natural waterfalls of the river, provides the ideal haven for anyone desiring a relaxing break in a unique setting. The deck area with its outdoor furniture and barbeque makes it an ideal setting for dining area is also available on the banks of the river (river is very safe for children and animals). Described by many of our visitors as a 'Dogs paradise', there are many safe walks in the adjoining woods and surrounding area.
The cottage enjoys all modern facilities i.e. satellite TV, Laptop/Broadband, DVD player with large selection of films, radio and CD player with a large collection of CDs together with a large supply of reading material. Landline telephone calls to UK and Ireland are available free of charge. Kitchen appliances include fridge/freezer, washing machine and dryer, dishwasher and microwave. Both bedrooms enjoy en-suite facilities with walk in showers. The Sunroom area provides a very relaxing space and contains a baby- grand piano. The living room contains wood burning stove a further choice of heating is available with electric night storage, and oil fired heating.
The beautiful monastic settlement and valley of Glendalough is mere 15 min drive, also the beautiful valley of glenmalure. A seaside visit to the silver sands of Brittas Bay is a 20 min drive. Walking, horse-riding, golf, fishing are only a few of the many nearby, (bicycles available if required). Other places of interest include Kilkenny Castle, The Kennedy ancestral home in Wexford, the town of Carlow, Powerscourt House and Gardens, Avondale House and of course Dublin, all easily accessible from Aughrim.
