This is one of three lovely homes 2.5 miles from bustling Castleblayney town. All homes are similar in design only the furnishings will differ. The spacious grounds share the swings and slide. Lots of local golf courses and a set of clubs and a couple of bikes are provided for your use. For rainy days there is a DVD, Playstation 2, free internet access and selection of board games. The local pub provides a courtesy car service too so you can really relax enjoy your pint and the Irish craic.

Castleblayney is situated to the east of the county close to the Armagh border. It has a population of 3,000 and is home to Country and Western Music in the county. The town is well known for its musical links with Big Tom and Paddy Cole. Music nights are held in its many pubs. Hope Castle was named after Henry Hope, owner of one of the largest uncut diamonds in the world. He bought the estate in 1870 and it is now part of Lough Muckno Leisure Park which incorporates a water-ski Centre, group activity programmes, conference facilities, and restaurant and bar. The leisure complex also has a splendid 9-hole golf course and forest trails with lakeside picnic areas.
Castleblayney also has a fully automated Ten Pin Bowling Complex which is open all year. Lots to do for the whole family!

The local pub also provides a car service to and from the cottage so you can relax and enjoy your pints and the Irish craic!
