This cosy cottage is located 5 miles from beautiful Carrick on Shannon located on the River Shannon which creates an ideal getaway from the fast pace of modern life. Whilst its location offers excellent opportunities for coarse fishing and cruising along the Shannon, the interior is presented to a very comfortable standard throughout and the owner also provides you with 2 electric blankets for those cold nights. The owner also provides a lake boat free of charge and you can then hire the engine for €30 per day from the owner. For larger parties of up 8 guests why not also book 12226 which is only 300 meters away.

The bustling town of Carrick-on-Shannon is 5 miles away and is not only a renowned centre for river cruises on the Shannon but also boasts a variety of shopping and evening entertainments. As the name suggests, Carrick on Shannon sits right on the river Shannon. This thriving center is known locally as the cruising capital of the Shannon. It boasts a beautiful modern marina and is also the most northerly hire point on the river. Carrick has a wealth of historical interests, a great selection of restaurants and plenty of pubs with music and fun for all. If you want to get in a spot of shopping you might drop in on the Letrim Design House or the Market Yard Centre. Carrick is a great town and well worth a visit.
