Locally there is fishing, golf, horse riding and sailing including a cruise which takes an hour and a half round trip, whilst Kenmare is 11 miles and the Ring of Kerry is a must see!

Set high on the hillside, it enjoys commanding views of the lakes and mountains and is a great base for exploring the Beara Peninsula and the Ring of Kerry. Guided walking tours can be organised in Kenmare which takes in the surrounding countryside and mountains.
