Lively Killorglin offers top-class restaurants and traditional music bars. Located on the famous Ring of Kerry, this is an excellent base for walking, rock climbing, fishing or golfing and for touring Dingle, Killarney and Tralee. There are several beautiful sandy beaches within easy driving distances and if it's raining there is the top class Aquadome in Tralee.

The Bustling Town of Tralee is just 27 miles from Glencar. Tralee has an array of Pubs and restaurants and shops. It is home to the World famous Rose of Tralee festival which takes place each summer. There are plenty of activities in Tralee to suit all ages. From the Aqua Dome Leisure Centre with its 75m outdoor Flume to a visit to The Jeanie Johnston Visitir Shipyard or a trip to the Blennerville Windmill via the Dingle Stream Railway, there is entertainment for all.
