There is a daily bus to Clifden & Galway city just five minutes walk from the house, but the area itself is full of history from pioneers like Marconi who experimented with a trans Atlantic radio mast here, to poets like Patrick Kelly who grew up in the village.
Cashel lies tucked along the western seaboard of Connemara at the head of beautiful Bertaghboy Bay. Behind it rises Cashel Hill to a height of 1000 feet - offering breathtaking views of the jagged coastline
