This lovely detached country home sits 1 mile down a country road from the village of Mayobridge and 5 miles from the bustling city of Newry. This home is ideally situated for golfers and their families as it borders the grounds of the Mayobridge golf course. Inside the home is spacious, bright, airy and tastefully decorated. Centrally located for touring the scenic North of Ireland and day trips to the City of Dublin.

Ideally suited for golfers the house is centrally located in Co Down and a short walk from the Mayobridge Golf course (affiliated with the G.U.I.). Beginners and intermediate players can enjoy the panoramic views from every hole on the course which includes two old Irish country cottages. This course is very popular with locals and visitors alike. After your round why not enjoy a pint in the new clubhouse or a meal in the Oak Tree restaurant. The Royal County Down Golf Club in Newcastle is a world renowned course and only 20 miles from the house for the scratch players in the group!

For those seeking other activities a scenic drive through the Mourne Mountain’s to the seaside town of Newcastle is a nice way to spend the day. The Mournes offer challenges for all skill levels of hiking. Newcastle offers lots of indoor and outdoor activities for families, from pedal go carts to mini boats on the lake! Tullymore Forest Park is another place to spend the day. There are lots of trails to navigate so pack a picnic and enjoy the day!

The city of Newry is only 5 miles away and full of activities for all ages. Visitors can enjoy a multiplex cinema, sports center, swimming pool, indoor carting, and numerous resources in the local area. The city also has great restaurants with both international and local flavour. There are always the local pubs where you can enjoy music including traditional Irish music. Dublin is just an hour by train from Newry and Belfast is 45 minutes by car for daytrips from the house. A trip to the beach is only a half hour away from the house!
