The kitchen and bath are new yet the home retains its traditional character. Locally you can enjoy fishing and scenic coastal walks. The blue flag beach of Inchydoney is just 10 miles away. This makes a great touring base for County Cork and the rest of the Southwest of Ireland with its famous peninsulas and National Pars. No trip to Cork would be complete with out a trip to kiss the Blarney Stone.

Courtmacsherry Bay is a bird watchers paradise. Heron and Cormorant feed in the sheltered upper harbour. Scenic walks can be enjoyed around its many peninsulas, including the Seven Heads Walk. Sea angling, water sports and golf can be enjoyed here. Inchydoney near Clonakilty is well know for its Blue Flag Beach and Spa Hotel. Courtmacsherry is a great touring base for the rest of Co. Cork Clonakilty, Rosscarbery, Glandore, Bantry, Glengariff, Kinsale, Baltimore and Cape Clear Island are an easy days outing.
