Carrigaholt with its clean sandy beach and pier is popular for fishing and for its boat excursions to dolphin watch. The village has a small shop, post office, pubs and an award winning restaurant. Kilkee, just 4.5 miles away is a bustling seaside resort with a beautiful blue flag beach in a protective cove and rock pools ideal for families.
