It is tastefully furnished inside with large cozy lounge with lots of videos and DVDs to watch during your stay and a large patio area at the rear ideal for those fine summer evenings with a bottle of wine and take in the breathtaking views the property has on offer. Achill Sound has lots on offer from fantastic beaches all within a short drive, many good fishing spots, and at weekends traditional music is on offer. A couples haven and a holiday to be remembered for a long time, a camera is a must!

Achill is Ireland's largest offshore island and one of the most spectacular and is joined to the mainland by a bridge at Achill Sound. The cliff and coastal scenery in Achill is amongst the most dramatic in Western Europe, with sheer lofty cliffs rising from the ocean far below. In sharp contrast are a proliferation of safe sandy beaches, 5 of which have been awarded the EU Blue Flag, guaranteeing standards of hygiene and facilities. Achill is well known for its quality and variety of walks. The long sandy beaches lend themselves to leisurely walking, within inland the hills and mountains provide a more challenging terrain. For fishing enthusiasts, the Atlantic waters around Achill provide one of the best sea angling grounds in Europe. The roads around Achill weave around hairpin bends, skirting sheer drops to the crashing waves below, and traversing mile after mile of glorious scenery. In Spring and Summer keep an eye out for basking sharks, once a regular visitor to these waters but now only seeing occasionally.
