The property, in its elevated position, has superb views of the Skellig Islands and across the road is the entrance to Glen Pier leading down to the beach. The rooms are comfortably furnished with relaxing colour schemes and this is a property brimming with character as well as luxury. The owners have taken all aspects of enjoyment into account when creating this as a perfect holiday base, even providing a games table and two lounge areas fitted out with TVs. There is a wonderful feeling of something for everyone here, the Irish countryside merges in with the wonderful sea views and it is a place for all those who appreciate nature at its most natural as well as having a treasure of a house to stay in.

Ballinskelligs itself is a small village, with church, pub and shop, and Waterville and Cahirsiveen are close by. Sample a taste of the local produce - freshly caught fish restaurants are scattered all around here. Or visit Portmagee, renowned for smuggling, or Valentia Island with its ancient historical sites. A trip to Skellig Island with its lovingly restored monastery from the sixth century and ancient heritage site are a must when visiting the area. For the activity enthusiasts there is fishing, sailing and surfing in what is becoming a fantastic location for sports, walking, cycling and climbing. The artist or writer will find much to capture their imagination. With shops, galleries, the Waterville craft market and the Chocolate Factory so close by, there is no shortage of ideas to pass the time.

A lovely place for family get togethers, reliving memories and building new ones. For those who want to get away from it all and have the option of touring the lesser known parts of West Kerry and yet be within reach of the main Ring of Kerry, with Kallarney, Tralee and Kenmare all easily accessible. A place where nature has been left to do what it does best and the promise of a holiday stay never to be forgotten.
